Dalai Lama Misses the Point

As the Dalai Lama talks about retirement and the problems Tibet continues to have with China, he misses the point, or at least misses the chance to use this press opportunity to point out that what China is playing at is genocide. LINK

The game is simple. Swamp Tibet with Chinese nationals of a different deme and the Tibetan gene pool will conform, over time, to that of China.

Genocide doesn't require the crude and ham handed actions of sending in armies and tanks or of destroying a distinct population with gas chambers and executions.

It just requires people of one genotype walking across borders--or in this case taking the new high speed trains into Tibet from China--en masse--and swamping the local gene pool with their genes.

THE EASY WAY TO SEE THE HATRED AND BIGOTRY AIMED AT THE FLDS

Just substitute the word "Jew" when there is any reference, direct or oblique, about the FLDS when you hear or read smears about the latter.

Thus, here's part of what Harry Reid (a guy who needs to be defeated at the polls) told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. We've done the substitution for you in []:-

"'The lawless conduct of [Jewish] communities in the United States deserves national attention and federal action,'" Reid told the Senate Judiciary Committee during a nearly three-hour hearing where witnesses tossed out allegations of pervasive criminal activity in the [Jewish community.]"

And, here's the original as reported by the Salt Lake Tribune

"The lawless conduct of polygamous communities in the United States deserves national attention and federal action," Reid told the Senate Judiciary Committee during a nearly three-hour hearing where witnesses tossed out allegations of pervasive criminal activity in the sects.

FLDS: A RELIGION, A FAMILY, A TRIBE, A NATION

Although most of the comments seen in the press about the FLDS discuss it in terms of it being a religion, it is really more than that.

It is a present day version of how tribes and nations were formed in the ages before modern mass transportation and before the current blending ideology of this present Dark Age.

Back then, people in small villages married each other and the villages sometimes grew and prospered. Eventually they became nations. Nations of closely related people. They often had one religion, one main world view and a sense of belonging to the group.

The FLDS is similar to that. They are linked by blood, belief and action.

The blenders don't like that. They want to tear apart the FLDS and not let them worship as they want and live as they desire.

There are very few family names among the FLDS and most of them are related in various ways to one another. It's probably safe to say that every member of the FLDS is, at the very least, a cousin to every other member

They are a very large family working together for the common good of the family.

And, they have their United Effort Plan in which they own most things in common as would be found in a family.

But, because of the size of the FLDS which has been given as having between 6,000 and 10,000 members, they are also a tribe and a collective.

They apparently see themselves as part of this collective, and value this over the overly rated individualism of our present day societies which have led to serious social and psychological problems among people who are alienated (and with good reason) but who are trying to accept the fiction that they are somehow one with people who are very different from themselves starting right at the genetic level. It's not working.

Our present day mad beliefs in hyper-individualism coupled with this false belief that we are one people in America because we have the same constitution or some sort of idea of freedom is absurd.

The FLDS model may be a good one for the survival of the genes of the members.

Will the blenders, the bigots, the haters be able to destroy the FLDS? Time will tell. It's been tried before with the FLDS and failed and it's been tried with other groups and also failed. But, it's been tried with weaker groups and succeeded. Again, time will tell.

Now, to be very clear about this: These are just my arms length opinions, and maybe I have it wrong. I'm not FLDS. Never even met anyone from the FLDS. FLDSers may disagree with me. I defer to them. They are the proper judges of who and what they are.

I have great respect for any distinct, peaceful people who just want to practice their faith or live their lives as they themselves see fit and who will not bow down to the wishes of the masses clustered under the center of the bell curve or to politicians, haters and bigots who want them to conform.

It is clear to me that the FLDS are being persecuted. Think about it. They were living their lives and not bothering anyone and now government bigots and private sector bigots have conspired to put everything they do under a microscope in the hope of finding something, anything, to destroy these peaceful people.

If there is a God in heaven, he is not happy with what is being done to the FLDS. And, hopefully, the FLDS will remain strong and true to their beliefs and won't change a single thing to please the haters and bigots, as some other churches and religions have done (and you know who we mean).

STOP RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION!

At the insistence of Senator Harry Reid (D) Nevada, the Senate Judiciary Committee will be taking testimony about the FLDS on July 24.

This just appears to be more of what is increasingly looking like a government conspiracy to destroy the FLDS.

The Judiciary Committee has eighteen members. Ten are Democrats and nine are Republicans

We've contacted those who we think might be fair with the following email:
---------------------------
July 15, 2008

Dear Senator________:

I am concerned that Sen. Reid is engaged in a witch hunt against the FLDS.

Those named in the press as witnesses who will appear before the Judiciary Committee on July 24, appear to be biased and perhaps even long standing FLDS haters.

If you read any of the over the top statements from some of these individuals and others, simply substitute the word "Jew" where you see "FLDS," and the nature of what Reid and others are trying to do is made plain.

Hopefully, you will call witnesses for the other side.

Respectfully,

PS: I'm not FLDS nor LDS, but I can see injustice and religious persecution when it is this plain.
--------------------------------

Here's the LINK to the Senate Judiciary Committee if you also wish to contact members and ask that they be fair.

Naturally, those Senators from your own state will be more responsive to your request than those from other states, but if you have anything in common with Senators from other states, i.e. college, religion, military service, etc. don't hesitate to put in a line about this.

PERVERTS STEAL ALL THE CHILDREN
[FLDS]

Between 1885 and the 1970's, perverts in Australia (whose hysteric etiology and deep seated psycho-sexual neuroses seem similar to those of the accusers of Witches in 1600's Salem)--used the power of the state to steal the children of Aborigines and place them in white Christian families.

"It's for the welfare of the children," they said. They had to stop child abuse or possible child abuse or potential child abuse or guessed at child abuse or imagined child abuse. The pervs knew what was right for others. They always do, at least in their own twisted minds.

The kids weren't being raised right. Weren't being taught right. Some parents even spanked their kids. Good grief, they didn't even wear the same type of clothes as the perverts. And, their religion? Whew, don't ask. The whole Aborigine society was just wrong, according to the pervs.

The kids had to be taken away from their loving parents and be given to new "parents," who were very different from the real parents, so they could be re-educated. Can't have children growing up believing anything but the current orthodoxy of the masses clustered under the center of the bell curve.
When will we ever learn?

It seems that the Australian experience is now being repeated in Texas.
The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) is a peaceful and loving community of people who believe that their religious views are the right ones. Others may disagree, but so what? Live and let live.

Unfortunately, the CPS in Texas has now taken all 460 or so children from their FLDS parents. Of these, 289 are 4 or younger.

The state even drove in with an armored personnel carrier full of comply-or-die types anxious to be new Rambos. Videos of the invasion show a scene like something out of WWII. Many young and very frightened kids clung to their parents but were forcibly ripped from them and herded on buses from a Baptist Church and sent to what some have called a concentration camp.

Cell phones were then confiscated from the few mothers who were allowed to accompany very young children. Can't have Rodney King type cell phone images being sent to the outside world. Might cause others to have sympathy for the folks you're trying to demonize. Might humanize them. Might conjure up pictures of German concentration camps.

Now, state officials are using the usual Kafkaesque explanations about why the kids were stolen and why the state wants them all put in foster homes. It sounds like Australia all over again.

Given this rush to judgment and rush to tear families apart, and given all the demonization and dehumanization of these people, would a reasonable person be unreasonable in wondering if some who have complete control of these impressionable young children may be intentionally or unintentionally planting false memories in the minds of these suggestible children as was apparently done in the McMartin Day Care abomination in Los Angeles, to justify, after the fact, this horrible invasion of a peaceful religious community's right to just be left alone.

Remember the absurd McMartin case? Adults triggered all sorts of false stories from the kids, and too many people believed the false stories about people flying through the air like witches and drinking blood and on and on. Hysteria took over just as it had in Salem in the 1600's, and stories kept getting embellished. Innocent people were accused of all sorts of things.

In the end, it was determined that the allegations against the McMartin Day Care Center were all nonsense started by a mother with emotional problems and it was furthered by kids saying things that they thought the adult investigators wanted to hear or who got movies mixed up with reality or who had thoughts planted in their subconscious minds by those interviewing the kids.

If you ask some people, they'll tell you that the reason the state is after the FLDS is because they're white people who, because of their polygamy, have a very high birth rate and, because they don't believe in miscegenation, are producing too many new white people.

Those with this view will point out that anti-White hate groups and individuals have now jumped on the PR press bandwagon and are calling the FLDS a "racist cult," to further demonize these peaceful people who just want to be left alone to practice their religion as they see fit.

Others will tell you that some who are persecuting the FLDS are born again Christians who hate all Mormons.

Still others will say that it is mainstream Mormons who are embarrassed that the FLDS lives the original teachings of Joseph Smith and is a constant reminder to the world about things that the mainstream Mormons want to hide in their quest to be just as PC and plain-wrapped as the most generic Christian sect.

Maybe it's a convergence of those with a variety of real and imagined beefs with anyone who is different.

At any rate, if you live in Texas and you don't like someone or some minority religion or some group, and if you want to harm them, just pretend you're a 16-year-old girl and drop a dime.

So, what about those Aborigines in Australia who had their families torn apart by the government? Well, finally, in 2008, approximately 123 years after the Australian government started their child stealing tyranny, the government has finally realized that what it did was wrong.

Here's the full text of the apology given by the Australian Parliament to the Aborigines.
February 12, 2008 - 4:40PM

Today we honour the Indigenous peoples of this land, the oldest continuing cultures in human history.

We reflect on their past mistreatment.

We reflect in particular on the mistreatment of those who were stolen generations - this blemished chapter in our nation's history.

The time has now come for the nation to turn a new page in Australia's history by righting the wrongs of the past and so moving forward with confidence to the future.

We apologise for the laws and policies of successive Parliaments and governments that have inflicted profound grief, suffering and loss on these our fellow Australians.

We apologise especially for the removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, their communities and their country.

For the pain, suffering and hurt of these stolen generations, their descendants and for their families left behind, we say sorry.

To the mothers and the fathers, the brothers and the sisters, for the breaking up of families and communities, we say sorry.

And for the indignity and degradation thus inflicted on a proud people and a proud culture, we say sorry.

We the Parliament of Australia respectfully request that this apology be received in the spirit in which it is offered as part of the healing of the nation.

For the future we take heart; resolving that this new page in the history of our great continent can now be written.

We today take this first step by acknowledging the past and laying claim to a future that embraces all Australians.

A future where this Parliament resolves that the injustices of the past must never, never happen again.

A future where we harness the determination of all Australians, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to close the gap that lies between us in life expectancy, educational achievement and economic opportunity.

A future where we embrace the possibility of new solutions to enduring problems where old approaches have failed.

A future based on mutual respect, mutual resolve and mutual responsibility.

A future where all Australians, whatever their origins, are truly equal partners, with equal opportunities and with an equal stake in shaping the next chapter in the history of this great country, Australia.

-----

How long will it take for the State of Texas and the United States as a whole to apologize to the FLDS and make the peaceful FLDS members whole?

Hopefully, this time of tribulation will leave the FLDS even stronger, and if there is a God in heaven who cares for those who believe in him, this evil time will pass. And, as with other persecuted peoples, the FLDS may emerge even stronger and even more committed to their religion, after this evil time.

In the meantime, if you want to frighten your children into minding you, don't tell them stories about how the boogey-man will get them. Just tell them the really terrifying story about how the armed men and women from the Texas state government will break down your doors and take them away on buses with lots of other bad little children and put them in a place where they won't be able to see their mommies and daddies.

GAY MARRIAGE OKAY--POLYGAMOUS MARRIAGE NOT OKAY?
[FLDS]

The California Supreme Court said this week that gay marriages are okay...under the law.

It didn't take long for State Assemblyman Chuck Devore, to say that the ruling will now stop the state from being able to ban "polygamous marriages."

We've heard that smarmy type of argument before.

What those saying this are really saying is "I don't like gay marriages, but gays are militant. And, because of their militancy, they've become PC and will have some moral high ground to attack me if I attack them.

"So, being a typical politician, I'm only going to attack gay marriage obliquely by attacking polygamous marriages [such as practiced by the FLDS down in Texas], because polygamists haven't become militant enough yet and are still easy targets for bigotry."

Or, in good old boy speak: "Why, shucks, gay marriages are okay with me boy, but gee if we allow them to marry, then those evil polygamists will also get a pass."

Bigotry doesn't change. It just changes targets.

Our position on marriage

Marriage is a contract between individuals and is not the business of the state.

However, as with many of our positions on the bigger questions of existence, we look to what we can observe or infer from nature for a deeper understanding of existence and our place in it.

It seems clear to us that nature's (or, God's if you prefer) primary directive, written in the genes of everything that lives, is "expand yourself [no matter who or what "yourself" is] by making more like yourself." We see that as part of the eternal struggle to be.

All arrangements, including polygamy, that help you expand yourself by making more like yourself, are in concert with nature (or God), and all arrangements that do not do this are counter to nature (or God) and what can be called the life force or that which animates the same chemicals and minerals found throughout the universe so that they have "life."

In either case, and to repeat, marriage is not the business of the state, or at least not in our culture that pretends to want diversity in all things. Of course, this leads off into a long discussion about the nature of the state and nations and peoples and religion and even physics (yes, physics), but we'll forgo that for now.

THE STOLEN CHILDREN
(A poem to the FLDS, Australian Aborigines, Gypsies, American Indians, Native Hawaiians, Jews and all others who have suffered genocide)

You've stolen all the children
You've taken every one
You've stolen all the children
You did it with your gun.

You're sending them to your camps
To learn to be like you
You've taken them from their parents
To make them all brand new.

You say they can't worship
Or pray the way they pray
You say they should be Baptists
Or think some other way.

But you bigots can't win
No matter how hard you try
More children will be born
And in hell you will start to fry.

The state is on your side
You are evil to the core
The world sees you as you are
You deceitful ugly whore.

More will come and more will come
And, I'll truly tell you this
While you moulder in the wormy dirt
Upon your grave they'll piss.

Gone from here and history
Gone for all time
You tried to destroy them
And, we now all see your crime.

You lived your few short years
And then you quickly died
Now and for all times you certainly are no more
But still the FLDS abide...but still they do abide.

Tyrants like you will always come
With the color of the law
But there is a higher truth that's always just
That is above your human flaw.
